How to set the Is Private checkbox on the Incident Form to ticked (checked) by default

I saw this asked on the Service Manager Technet “General” forum today and thought the answer was a custom control…

So, I threw together a new control. Following on from my previous post, this can be added to the incident form using the same technique.

When the form is opened, the checkbox is ticked as shown above (as opposed to the default of not ticked).

Also, if you untick it, when you click “Add” to add a new analyst comment, the checkbox is ticked again.

The assembly can be downloaded from here.

For adding to your form you need:

Assembly="ReversePrivateCheckbox" Type="ReversePrivateCheckbox.ReversePrivate"

Please read the previous blog for more information on using this DLL here.
